My Theatre work.

On graduating from University in 1995 I co-founded the Theatre of Incurable Players in Wallsend. Newcastle Upon Tyne.  Across the years since then I have been involved in countless theatrical productions as a writer, director, performer and producer.  I have also had a taste of fame when I was asked to do an advert for Studio Brussel radio station. That was a lot of fun, as was Phileas P Souper, a mime show which toured nationally for 5 years.  Both can be seen below.  I have worked in street theatre and created a number of wandering characters for festivals around the country. This is a British Theatre Guide review of a show I did as part of the Hans Christian Anderson 200 years celebration. Sadly the photos are trapped on an old hard drive. Most recently I have focussed my energy on storytelling but I am available for work in interesting and exciting theatre shows.  More images to follow when I retrieve them from a broken hard drive. If you are using Safari on a Mac or MacBook, the videos on this page might not be available. However, they can be viewed on a mobile device. Technology. Don't ask me!
Patrick & Bridget. Storytelling Characters (Top of page)

Patrick and Bridget were the first Theatre of Incurable Players characters created and performed by myself and fellow  theatre performer Ian Douglas. After an 18 year interval they resurfaced briefly to appear at a summer festival.

In 1997 I was asked to work with an ensamble of musicians from the Sage Music Centre to create a show that would introduce the violin family to young children. My role was to create a wordless narrative and perform in the show.
