New ways of working
Having completed my MA in Illustration, Authorial Practice, I am beginning to incorporate illustration into my work, whether that be through the creation of physical mark making or spoken word. I also run illustration workshops for schools. Click here for more information.
One of my newly acquired skills is book making and binding. This intricate and precise process is an integral aspect of the Authorial practice that requires patience and attention to detail and is something I love doing. In this time lapse video you can see me making the cover to my book 'They Call Me Monster', which was the central focus of my MA.

- Sound forms a large part of both my illustration and performance practice, whether as spoken word, musical accompaniment or the manipulation of recorded sounds. I am particularly interested in binaural recording, which captures sound in 3D, like surround sound. The full potential of Binaural recording is realised when listened to through headphones. The example below is taken from my MA show 'They Call Me Monster' and was created as a separate but integral element to the book, in order to enhance the readers experience in an immersive way.
