Celebrating the art of storytelling |
There is plenty of exciting storytelling happening in and around Falmouth this February as part of the 20th anniversary of National Storytelling Week. Whether it be a gathering in a local cafe for a few family friendly tales, standing up and telling a true story from your own life or a full blown performance of Cornwalls favourite local tale, Tristan and Iseult, there is something for all.
The ancient art of storytelling has been a part of the human experience since we first began to speak. National Storytelling Week is a celebration of this, and is brainchild of the Society for Storytelling, who launched it as part of the Millennium celebrations in 2000. Look out for Pop up storytelling in the town centre at lunch times throughout the week. Scroll down to see more information about individual events |
