Story making workshops

I run a variety of story making workshops for children from Reception through to key stage 2 and adults of most ages and abilities in all kinds of settings, and use a wide range of stimuli to draw the stories out.  Whether it be random objects from a cloth sack, paintings on a gallery wall, a basket of musical and percussive instruments or the natural environment itself, a story can be found.

I prefer to work with small groups of between 10 and 20.  I feel that this is more beneficial to the group members.  However, I realise that in schools, many class sizes are larger and I can accommodate this.

Gary’s enthusiasm transferred itself to the children, even the most reticent could not help but get caught up in the storytelling and drama.
